Fender Mustang Bass Guitar Torino Red Vintage 1966 Pre-Owned

This 1966 Fender Mustang Bass is in very good condition for its age with some modifications and wear. This bass started its life finished in a Dakota Red but has received a refinish at some point in a Torino Red along with a neck refinish.

The original pickups date stamped to 1967 sound fantastic and it is playing very well with that classic Fender short-scale feel.

The original pots have been previously replaced (as pictured) but are included in the case. The machine heads and bridge are also original with an extra set of vintage Mustang Bass machine heads included in the case.

Other signs of wear include some screws near the bridge from wear a thumb-rest had been previously installed and a fair amount of fret wear. It has been freshly setup with flat wounds and is playing great!
